Kaduna State Health Development Board will soon take delivery of two thousand doses of covid 19 vaccines.

The Director, Disease and Epidemic Control, Hamza Ibrahim Ikara made this known while speaking to Radio Nigeria in Kaduna.

The Director confirmed that the delivery of vaccines doses would soon be made available to state once the country received it’s consignment.

Hamza Ibrahim Ikara noted that front line health workers would be the first to be vaccinated.

Speaking on routine immunization in the state, the Director confirmed that the agency had started developing a micro plan to capture children from one to eleven months in the 23 local government areas of Kaduna state.

Hamza Ibrahim Ikara further expressed gratitude to the over eight thousand community volunteers for supporting the immunization exercise in the state.

He thanked parents, care givers and youth groups for working to achieve an efficient health care delivery in Kaduna state.
