Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa State has paid an unscheduled visit to the State Secretariat to inspect the turnout and punctuality of the Civil Servants.

The Governor noted with dismay the poor turnout of workers in their offices.

He described the civil servants as a major stakeholders in the development of the State and therefore, emphasized the need for the civil servants to wake up, to be punctual and productive enough to make the State better.

Mallam Umar Namadi urged the civil servants to be more committed to hard work and resilience in the discharge of their duties.

During the visit, the Governor was taken round to the office of the Head of the Civil Service, office of the Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State as well as Blocks A and B within the State Secretariat Complex.
