The Jigawa Secretary to the State government, Alhaji Bala Ibrahim Mamser  has challenged staff under his office to be punctual.

Alhaji Bala Mamser gave the charge at a meeting with Permanent Secretariates and Directors of his office.

He explained that punctuality and discipline were essential qualities of a good civil servant.

The Secretary to the State Government further explained that his office must meet government expectations and therefore, emphasised that staff must be punctual and productive.

Responding on behalf of the staff, the  Permanent Secretary, Administration and Finance, Alhaji Muhammad Dagaceri and his counterpart on Special Services/ Council Affairs, Alhaji Abba Muhammad promised that the staff would be punctual and work hard for the betterment of the State.
