Chairman of the North Central Governor’s Forum Abdullahi Sule has condoled the government and people of Kwara State over the death of over one hundred wedding guests following a boat mishap in the Pategi Local Government Area of the State.
A statement issued to newsmen in lafia, by the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Ibrahim Inuwa Addra quotes Governor Abdullahi Sule says he is deeply shaken by such a tragedy, ironically at a time of a wedding celebration.
The statement explains that, the governor on behalf of other Governors of the North Central States and the people of the region condoles the Government and people of Kwara State and the family of the deceased.
It says the North Central Governors Forum prayers are with their colleague, Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq and the people of Kwara State at this period.
The statement prays that God will grant the departed souls the eternal rest and their families the fortitude to bear the loss.
