Bilyaminu Ismail Moriki Newly Elected Zamfara State Assembly Speaker

A member representing Zurmi North Constituency in Zamfara State House Assembly, Bilyaminu Ismail Moriki has been Elected the Speaker of the 7th State Assembly.

The development was a sequel that the State Governor Dauda Lawal comes from Gusau, Zamfara Central Zone while his Deputy Mani Mumuni from Bukkuyum Local Government area which is located in Zamfara West Senatorial Zone.

Bilyaminu Moriki, a second-term member of the State House of Assembly is from the same Local Government as the immediate past Speaker of the 6th Assembly Nasiru Ma’azu Magarya.

Similarly, alhaji Adamu Aliyu who is representing Gummi II was also emerged the Deputy Speaker unopposed.

Zamfara State House of Assembly has twenty elected members across the fourteen Local Government areas of the state.

The Deputy Governor Mani Mumuni represents the Governor, Dauda Lawal while heads of security agencies, traditional rulers, Politicians, family, friends, and well-wishers witnessed the occasion.
