Kwara state Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has flagged – off the construction of $60m Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing projects-RAAMP road intervention projects in the state.

Governor AbdulRazaq who was represented at the occasion by his deputy, Kayode Alabi said that he paid the N400m counterpart fund to attract the intervention of RAAM to the state.

According to him, the state government cannot succeed in it’s effort of promoting food security or seek investment into the state when the roads are in bad shape.

AbdulRazaq expressed appreciation to all sponsors and donor agencies as well as the state project implementation unit for their hard work and commitment.

Ealier in his address, Kwara state Project Coordinator, Engineer Akorede Agboola commended Governor AbdulRazaq’s administration for being the first to flag of the construction project among the benefiting states.
