Kaduna State government has
directed the State Emergency Management Agency SEMA to carry out an Immediate Assessment and Provide Assistance to the Victims of the recent attacks In Zangon Kataf Local government area of the state.
Deputy Governor of the State, Dr.Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe gave the Directive when She visited the Agwatyp,Mr.Dominic Gambo Yahaya in his Palace Zangon-Kataf.
She Comdemned the renewed Killings in Zangon Kataf,Lamenting on how the attacks led to the loss of several Lives while others injured.
Dr.Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe Explained that the State Government since last week had been working with the Military and other Security Agencies on the unfortunate Situation with a view to Restore Peace in the Council.
In his response, the Agwatyp Dominic Gambo Yayaha thanked the Deputy Governor for the visit.
He expressed Sadness over the Violent attacks which he described as Shocking.
Mr Dominic Yahaya noted that the attacks were Coming after a Period of relative Peace amidst many efforts by well-meaning Individuals to Promote Peaceful Coexistence among all people living in the Chiefdom.
The Administrator, Kafanchan Municipal Authority, Mrs Pheobe Sukai Yayi and the Chairman of Zangon Kataf Local Government, Mr. Francis Sani were Part of the delegation accompanied the Deputy Governor.
