The need to give priority attention to the security situation in Atyap community of Zango Kataf local government area of Kaduna State has been advocated.
National President of the Association, Dr. Samuel Achie made the remark while reacting to a recent attack in Langson community of Mabushi , in Zango Kataf local government.
He said the recent attack in Mabushi which led to the dead of ten people was the second within a space of three days, after the one that occurred in Ungwar Wakili last Saturday and had necessitated the call for enough security attention to protect lives and property of the people.
Dr. Samuel Achie lamented that the attacks coming days to the gubernatorial election, could lead to voters apathy and possible disenfranchisement.
When contacted on the telephone, the Kaduna State Police Public Relations Officer, Mohammed Jalige said that he could not comment because a security meeting was about commencing and promised to get back to our correspondent.
