A group known as Muslim Solidarity Forum in Sokoto State has expressed fear over the current political tension in the state.

Addressing newsmen , the chairman of the Forum, Professor Isa Muhammed Maishanu, reminded the politicians that power belongs to ALLAH, noting that no amount of violence will make any person get what ALLAH the exalted, has not destined for him.

Prof.Isa Muhammad maishanu urged them to work towards peaceful governorship and State House of Assembly elections devoid of crisis for social security and economic development of the state.

The Muslim Solidarity Forum Sokoto is an umbrella body for Imams, scholars, preachers, Islamic other Islamic Organizations.

He appealed to the political leaders in the state to shun inflammatory statements capable of inciting violence in the state.

Prof. maishanu called on youths not to allow themselves to be used by selfish politicians to cause chaos that could lead to spilling of innocent blood.

Executives participants at the event, include, Professor Sadiyya Umar, Professor Mandir Saeed, Professor Abubakar Umar, Sheikh Abdullahi Jibril, Professor Sani Umar Musa amongst others.
