In Zamfara state, there was a low turnout during the mock accreditation organized by the Independent National Electoral Commission-INEC.

Radio Nigeria reports that, in Zamfara North, a polling unit number 007 (Kaka Mai fonfo) of ward 06 Kungurki of Kaura Namoda Local government, only 94 voters were accredited out of 750 voters registered.

Similarly in Gusau the state capital, two wards were selected for the mock election to include Tudun wada and Mayana wards respectively, however, the turnout was not encouraging.

Investigation conducted by Radio Nigeria revealed that the low turnout for the exercise was as a result of poor enlightenment about the mock election.
