Kwara state government says it has put in place measures to reward twenty five categories of people to promote diligence and hard work in the state .

The state Commissioner for Communications, Mallam Sadiq Buhari state this in Ilorin, while briefing Journalists on the criteria for the selection of the awardees.

He said those to be rewarded will be picked based on their contribution to their immediate communities.

Mallam Sadiq said those who excel in their various endeavors will also be appreciated to encourage others.

He explained that the award will attract both cash price and other forms of gifts to encourage and appreciate the nominees.

The Commisssioner urged the general public to avail themselves of the opportunity provided to contribute to the exercise.

The categories of the award include, best student in the state, the most outstanding farmer, Best tax compliant company and individual in the state, as well as the most outstanding health care service provider in the state among others.
