Kaduna State Government has urged corps members to use the NYSC Entrepreneurial Training Scheme to empower themselves and fight unemployment.

Governor El-Rufai said this at the Closing Ceremony of the 2022 Batch C stream II Orientation Course held at the temporary camp in Kaduna.

The Governor, who was represented by Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs and Social Services, Hafsat Mohammed Baba said the administration would continue to recognize and reward outstanding corps members at the end of the service year.

Assuring Corps Members of their security and welfare in the state, He warned them to abide by the ethics and core values of the scheme.

Governor El-Rufai further urged Corps Employers to accept corps members posted to them and make them comfortable.

Acting Director General of the scheme, Mrs. Christy Uba in her speech which was read by the State Coordinator Mr. Oboba Abel Oche charged corps members to desist from meddling in local politics of host communities rather she encouraged them to engage in Services that would uplift lives.

She added that corps members must be security conscious at this time and avoid activities that could tarnish the image of the scheme and the nation at large.
