Governor Ahmed Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State says his administration has over time put in place enduring policies to guarantee a hitch free orientation exercise and service year.

The governor stated this at the official opening and swearing-in ceremony of the twenty twenty-two batch ‘C’ stream two orientation course held at the temporary camp in Kaduna.

Presented by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Human Services and Social Development, Mr. Stephen Joseph, Governor El-Rufai called on corps members to reciprocate the gesture by exhibiting high sense of patriotism throughout their stay in the state.

He said corps members should take advantage of the orientation course which was aimed to impact the needed leadership and entrepreneurial skills.

Acting Director General NYSC, Mrs. Christy Uba, represented by the State Coordinator, Mr. Oboba Abel Oche, reminded corps members to always adhere to the oath of allegiance taken as it would guide their conduct during and after the service year.

She also urged corps members not to engage in any social vices rather to be security conscious and report any suspicious activity around to appropriate authorities.

With eight hundred and sixty corps members registered for the orientation course, the Director General express her gratitude to the Nigeria Center for Disease and Control (NCDC), the state ministry for health as well as Federal and State tertiary health Institutions for their support to the scheme.
