Gov Badaru Abubakar

Jigawa State Government says exploration of crude oil in the State will commence during the Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.

Governor Badaru Abubakar stated this while addressing the All Progressives Congress APC supporters after presenting flags to the party’s candidates in Jigawa North-West.

He explained while reacting to the exploration of oil between Bauchi and the Gombe States that Jigawa was also blessed with an abundance of oil.

“By the grace of God, Jigawa oil will also be explored during the tenure of Tinubu for the benefit of the country and the State”

In an address, the state APC Chairman Alhaji Aminu Sani Gumel called on the people of the state to vote for APC at all levels.

Also speaking, the state Deputy Governor who is also the APC gubernatorial candidate, Mallam Umar Namadi reassured people that if elected in 2023, he will maintain the party’s legacy of an open, transparent, and all-inclusive government.

Radio Nigeria reports that the APC leadership presented its flag bearers contesting for various elective positions in Jigawa North-West senatorial district to electorates.
