Sultan of Sokoto Muhammad Saad Abubakar has directed the Muslims ummah in the country to
start looking for the new crescent of Jumada Ula tomorrow Thursday the 24th of November 2022, equivalent to Islamic calendar 29th of RABIUL sani 1444 after Hijira.
In a statement signed by the chairman advisory committee on religious affairs, Sultanate council Sokoto state Professor Sambo Wali Junaidu says if sighted the information should be forwarded to the nearest village or district head for onward communication to the Sultan of Sokoto.
