Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has described the death of the Vice Chancellor of Kwara State University (KWASU) Professor Muhammed Mustapha Akanbi, SAN as painful and shocking.

A statement by governor AbdulRazq’s spokesman ,Rafiu Ajakaye said that the governor submitted to the decree of Allah who gives and takes in this trying moment.

He said late Professor Akanbi was a true and humble servant of Allah.

AbdulRazq prayed Allah to grant him al-jannah Firdaus.

He maintained that late Professor Akanbi was a colossus who played the leading role to open a new chapter of academic excellence and greatness for Kwara State University (KWASU).
