Over ten patrol vehicles have been donated to the Nigeria Police by Kwara state government to increase their effectiveness and efficiency in providing security in the the state.

Performing the official hand over of the operational vehicles at the government house, Ilorin, Governor AbdulRaman AbdulRazaq, said the donation was meant to encourage the Police to redouble efforts at ensuring the safety of lives and property in the state.

Accoding to him the state government is supporting security agency by giving them additional equipment to make their job easier.

AbdulRazq said the state is doing all that is humanly possible to maintained the status of the state as the safest place in the country.

In his address Kwara state Commisssioner of police ,Mr Paul Odama expressing gratitude to the state government for the support.

He assured that the Police will continue to do their best in ensuring adequate security across the state.

Mr Odama appealed to the residents to volunteer useful information to security agencies to ensure safety and security of everyone.
