As part of preparation towards the 2023 Census, the National Population Commission in Sokoto state has launched an e-recruitment portal in the state.
The Federal Commissioner of the National Population Commission in the state, Mr Chiso Dattijo Abdullahi stated this while briefing newsmen in the state.
Radio Nigeria Correspondent in Sokoto reports that interested applicants are expected to apply into the following categories, Facilitator, Training Centre Administrators, Monitoring and Evaluations Officers, Data Quality Managers, Data Quality Assistants, Supervisors and Enumerators.
The Federal Commissioner said the recruitment exercise would last till December 28th.
Dattijo noted that the commission would accord priority to applicants that comes from the rural areas with a view to ensuring effective coverage of rural communities.
He added that Lack of network coverage in the rural areas will not exclude applicants from the rural areas stressing that such applicants can apply direct to the commission through their Local government headquarters in the state.
Dattijo believed that the measure would ease the 2023 Population and Housing Census exercise in the country.
