The Chairman of the All progressive Congress APC in Kaduna , Mr Emmanuel Jakada has announced members of the state APC campaign council.
He made this known at a news briefing in Kaduna.
Mr Jakada said the campaign list comprises the entire spectrum of the APC family, senior stakeholders of the party, APC elders and seasoned technocrats, that would drive a successful campaign in the next few months, leading to the 2023 general elections.
He explained that, Malam Nasiru Elrufai is the Campaign Council Chairman, Senator Uba Sani , the APC gubernatorial candidate, is the Deputy Chairman one while Dr Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe is the Deputy Chair two, comprising 22 directorates and 989 members.
According to him, the Campaign Council has Air Commodore Emmanuel Jakada( rtd), the Kaduna State Chairman of APC, as Vice Chairman one, Yusuf Ibrahim Zailani, the Speaker of Kaduna State House of Assembly, is Vice Chairman two while Secretary to Kaduna State Government, Malam Balarabe Abbas Lawal is Vice Chairman three among others.
He stated that, Professor Muhammad Sani Bello Mainan Zazzau is the Director General of the Campaign Council while Malam Muhammad Hafiz Bayero, the Administrator of Kaduna Capital Territory Authority, is Deputy Director General Operations.
Mrs Phoebe Yayi Sukai, the Administrator of Kafanchan Municipal Authority is Deputy Director General Administration.
He noted that, the Campaign Council has all Senatorial Candidates of APC as Chairmen of Zonal Campaign Committees.
Mr Emmanuel Jakada also revealed that, the list also contained seven Senior Advisers and eighteen Advisers as well as 148 Advisory Committee members on the Campaign Council.
He assured that the campaign would be conducted in a civil manner and the focus would be on issues and the achievements of the APC Government in Kaduna state.
