Governor Abubakar Sani Bello of Niger State has approved the conversion of Government Secondary School Agwara to a full fledged Science College.

Chairman House of Assembly Committee on Judiciary and member representing Agwara, Barrister Bello Ahmed stated this while exchanging views with Newsmen in Minna.

Barrister Bello Ahmed said the science college which is to be a boarding one is expected to accommodate students from that zone c and beyond to study pure science related subjects.

This he said would prepare them with requisite knowledge to study medicine, Engineering, pharmacy and other related subjects in Nigerian universities.

He however pointed out that the science college which had been captured in twenty twenty one budget required some little efforts for it’s implementation.

Barrister Bello Ahmed explained that a committee had been set up by Niger state government to look into the architectural design of that school to ensure its successful completion.

He commended Governnor Abubakar Sani Bello of Niger state, Commissioner of Education, Hajiya Hannatu Jibrin Salihu and other critical stakeholders who have supported them to have come this far and called for more to succeed.

He however added that education would continue to remain his priority stressing that it is the only true legacy he can bequeath to his contituents to empower them for life.
