The Shehu of Bama, Alhaji Umar Kyari Umar Elkanemi has promised to maintain the age old relationship between Bama and Argungu Emirates.
Alhaji Umar Kyari Umar Elkanemi made the call when he paid homage to the Emir of Argungu, Alhaji Samaila Muhammad Mera at his palace.
Shehu of Bama who noted that the relationship between the two Emirates cannot be over emphasized, solicited for advise and prayers from his host.
added that his father the late Shehu of Bama and the Emir of Argungu have been friends for a long time, acknowledging him as his father.
Responding, the Emir of Argungu, Alhaji Samaila Muhammad Mera prayed for the soul of the late Shehu of Bama while congratulating alhaji Umar Kyari Umar Elkanemi for succeeding his late father.
He advised council members of the new emir to support him in running the affairs of the Emirate.
