Hundreds of supporters of the All Progressives Congress APC in Kebbi state are decamping to the Peoples Democratic Party PDP.
The recent decampees are from Kebbi South Senatorial where hundreds of the APC supporters decamped to PDP.
Those who decamped to PDP are former Deputy Governor, Alhaji Ibrahim K Aliyu, Alhaji Atiku Alaramma Warra APC Zonal Vice Chairman Kebbi South and former Secrtary to the State Government, Abubakar Ummar among others.
They said, they decamped to PDP due to bad governance in the state as there was no development put in place by the present administration in the state.
They assured to work for the party to ensure its success in the 2023 genaral elections.
At the PDP headquarters in Birnin Kebbi, decampees from Yauri, Shanga, Ngaski and Danko Wassagu local government areas were recieved by the PDP state executives.
Responding while recieving the decampees, the state PDP Chairman, Alhaji Usman Bello Suru, assured to treat them equally.
