Chairman of KCCI Alhaji Bashir Usman Tofa

The Kano concern citizens initiative KCCI has challenged wealthy individuals in kano and Nigeria as a whole to imbibe the culture of investing in Agriculture, health, Education and all) other aspects of human endeavour to create job apportunities among youths to reduce poverty and hunger.

The Chairman of KCCI Alhaji Bashir Usman Tofa stated this when he lead members of the Association on a courtesy visit on the management of Gezawa commodity Market,in Gezawa local government area of Kano state.

He said it was very imperative for wealthy individuals to invest in their states of origina,so that more job apportunities can be created.

Alhaji Bashir Usman Tofa explained that KCCI had visited over thirty industries and companies in Kano with a view to identify their challenges and map out modalities to addressing them through the support of Governments at all levels.

In a remark the promoter of Gezawa commodity Market Alhaji Ahmed idris said the interactive session between KCCI, Kano investment forum and Gezawa commodity Market was to avail them with the progress made so far,and also to create a synergy of improving agricultural value chain.

He noted that inline with president Muhammad Buhari’s efforts at reviving the Agricultural sector, Gezawa commodity Market is according priority to Agricultural value chain which is geared towards boosting the Nation’s Economy.

Ahmed Idris urged well meaning Nigerians to invest in the Agricultural sector, aimed at producing enough food for both internal and external consumption.
