People’s Democratic Party PDP says it will run an issue-based campaign that dwells on key areas affecting the people.
The running mate for the Governorship Candidate of the Party comes 2023 general elections in Kaduna State, Dr John Ayuba stated this to Journalists from the Southern Kaduna zone.
Dr John Ayuba who lamented the continues economic hardship Nigerians were going through under the present leadership of government, promised that the party would salvage the country when given the mandate.
“when campaigns begin proper, the people should expect a lot of revelations that will expose the activities of ruling party and other candidates that are currently portraying themselves as innocent to the people”, he said.
He stressed that the party would prioritize youth inclusiveness if they emerge victorious at the polls and thereby called on the people especially southern Kaduna electorates to vote right.
“PDP are prepared to defend their votes by ensuring that their mandates are not stolen and we know that the electorates are ready to vote due to the hardship already experienced in the country”he added
The running mate who promised to bring his wealth of experience to facilitate the victory of the party assured the populace that the party had learnt from its past mistakes and would give the electorates their expectations.
Dr John Ayuba appealed to the Southern Kaduna people to forget their differences and unite to save the region from total neglect by the rulling party.
He commended the populace for coming out en-mass to get registered for thier Permanent Voters Cards and urged those who were yet to do so, to take advantage of the extension by INEC, to participate in electing those that would govern them.
The running mate who thanked his principal for nominating him called on southern Kaduna people to give the PDP all the support as Alhaji Isah Ashiru has good plans for them.
Dr Ayuba John therefore assured the Southern Kaduna Journalists of continuous partnership for the upliftment of the region,the state and the country in terms of accurate reportage.
