The appointment of Alhaji Muhammad Bello Suleman as the new Emir of Zurmi has been described as a deserving one that conforms with aspirations of the good people of Zurmi Emirate.

The Speaker, Zamfara State House of Assembly, Alhaji Nasiru Muázu Magarya stated this while presenting a letter of congratulation to the new Emir, Sarkin Zamfaran Zurmi Alhaji Muhammad Bello Suleman in his palace.

Alhaji Nasiru Magarya said, the development was essentially historic, unique and important not only to the emir him-self, but to the entire lineage of Bani Sambo Royal House and Zurmi Emirate in general.

He called on the people of Zurmi Emirate Council to cooperate and support the emir and other traditional, religious and community leaders in the area for the betterment of Zurmi emirate council.

The Speaker who was represented by a five-man committee headed by Malam Nura Musa Zurmi prayed that, the achievement be a stepping stone for the overall sustainable development, peaceful coexistence Zurmi Emirate Council.

Responding the Emir of Zurmi, Alh. Muhammad Bello Suleman thanked the Speaker for his concern and having the people of Zurmi and Zurmi Emirate Council at his heart, he prayed Allah to guide Nasiru Mu’azu Mgarya in all his undertakings.
