Popular Nigerian-American singer , Olubankole Wellington (better-known as Banky W), has secured the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) ticket in Eti-Osa federal constituency, Lagos.
In the party primary election, which was held on Monday, Banky W polled a total of 28 votes, defeating his opponent by as many as 25 votes.
The delegates were so excited they carried the singer on their shoulders.
