The Emir of Bauchi Dr Rilwanu Sulaiman Adamu has called on the National Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies NIPSS in Plateau state to come up with policy framework that will enhance good governance towards tackling security from the grassroot levels.

The Emir was speaking in his palace when he granted audience to Members of Senior Executive Course 44 of the National Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies NIPSS Kuru, Jos.

He noted that traditional institutions have been playing vital roles in promoting peace and security in their domains hence the need for the provision of constitutional backings to boost their morales.

He wished them well in their study tour and prayed Allah to guide them throughout their stay in Bauchi.

Earlier, Leader of the delegation Dr Ibrahim Choji said they were in the state on a study tour for an approved topic from the Presidency, Strengthening Local Governance in Nigeria.

Dr Ibrahim Choji commended the state government for the provision of conducive environment to make their study tour a more successful one.

High point of the visit was presentation of plague from the Institute and members of the group to the Emir.
