A former minister of information, Labaran Maku has joined the Nasarawa state Governorship race on the platform of the people’s Democratic Party (PDP).

Mr Maku, who was until recently the national secretary of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), said he decided to rejoin the PDP after leaders of the party in the state urged him to return.

He promised to reposition Nasarawa state with his wealth of experience and track record if elected Governor in 2023.

Mr Maku, a former deputy Governor of Nasarawa state, had on his entourage prominent elders and political leaders of nasarawa.
