The new National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Abdullahi Adamu on Tuesday formally resigned from the Senate.

Also, Senator Abubakar Kyari representing Borno North also resigned from the Upper Chamber.

The two senators in separate letters read by the President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan during Tuesday’s plenary, say their action became necessary following their emergence as National Chairman and Deputy National Chairman (North) of the APC respectively.
