The State Commissioner of Land and Urban Development, Alhaji Sagir Musa Ahmed

Jigawa state government says it has suspended the issuance of temporary land certificates in the state.

The State Commissioner of Land and Urban Development, Alhaji Sagir Musa Ahmed stated this when he received the leaders of the Association of Real estate Agents in his office.

According to him, the measures was aimed at avoiding double allocation of plots and other challenges.

Alhaji Sagir Musa Ahmed further explained that, Governor Badaru Abubakar approved the use of geographical information system in order to sanitize the activities of the ministry.

Earlier, the Chairman of the Association, Garzali Idris Yalwawa said, the visit was aimed to forward their grievances to the state government.

He thanked Governor Badaru Abubakar for the support and cooperation given to the association at all times.
