National Association of Community Health Practitioners of Nigeria has elected Comrade Kabir Yahaya Ahmed as their National President.

The Association also elected Reverend Cannon Nengi Brown as Deputy National President while Anyimigbo Joy Chinyere as Treasurer.

Others are Abayimi Great as National Publicity Secretary, Comrade Sarki Zakari as Assistant General Secretary and Auditor 1, Ayilara Bimbo Marryam and Mohammed Goje as Auditor II.

In his acceptance speech, the newly elected President Comrade Kabir Yahaya Ahmed said his administration will set up a reconciliation committee to address all differences within the members.

He assured members that his executive would accord priority to transparency and accountability during his tenure.

Comrade Kabir Yahaya Ahmed thanked the founding fathers of the Association for their tireless efforts towards maintaining a good stand of the Association and pray for Allah’s wisdom and guidance throughout his tenure.

Also, the Registrar Community Health Practitioners Registration Board of Nigeria Alhaji Bashir Idris Lafidin Jama’a in his message to the occasion, appealed to the newly elected executive to accord priority to professionalism of their members and also address issue of quacks in the profession.

In his goodwill message, Chairman Board Members of Community Health Practitioners Registration Board of Nigeria. Mr. Sule Toma assured that the Board would partner with the newly executive for the development of the Association.

Also in his goodwill message, the Chairman Stakeholders and Member of Board of Trustee of National Association of Community Health Practitioners of Nigeria Alhaji AbdulGaniy Oladipo Bolaji congratulated the newly executive and urged them to be just to each and every member of the Association.

The Association elected six Vice Presidents and the National Trustee of the zones.
