21 Security Personnels in Kwara state have been trained in Information Technology to enable them use modern equipments to fight crime.

Speaking at the inauguration of the free training for security Personnel organised by Information Technology Professionals in Ilorin, Pastor Omotayo Joseph said the training would increase productivity of security agencies .

He said, the world over, technology was adopted in crime detection and prevention.

According to him after the training the personnel will be able to educate their colleagues on how to use data to fight crime.

Pastor Joseph also called on the federal government to provide additional modern equipments for security agencies to enable them reduce crime to the minimum.

In his remark the instructor ,Yusuf
Mohammed advised the trainees to make good use of the knowledge received to increase their productivity.
