Federal Government has appointed four (4) Deputy Controllers General (DCGs) for the Federal Fire Service.

They are  DCG Karebo Samson, DCG Abdulganiyu Jaji, DCG Tesleem Agunloye and DCG Calistus Agu.

Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf  Aregbesola while decorating the new DIGs said the Federal Government under the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari has committed more resources into the nation’s Fire Service since its creation in 1901.

The Minister lauded the Federal Fire Service for saving 587 lives, and property worth 18.9 trillion naira in 2021 alone, a feet he described as commendable.

He acknowledged the visionary leadership and invaluable contributions of the immediate past Controller General of the Federal Fire Service, Dr. Liman Ibrahim to the Federal Fire.

The Acting CGF, Karebo Samson while responding on behalf of newly promoted officers, expressed appreciation to President Muhammadu Buhari for the confidence reposed in them, stating that they won’t disappoint Nigerians in discharging their statutory responsibility of saving lives and property of Nigerians.
