Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has appointed a five-man enforcement committee to sanitise the indiscriminate disposal of waste within Ilorin metropolis.

In a statement by govenor AbdulRazq Chief press secretary ,Rafiu Ajakaye said ,the committee will be chaired by retired Air Vice Marshal Ishaq Balogun.

The statement said the committee will work with existing structures in the Ministry of Environment and some adhoc bodies to ensure that the state capital is clean to guarantee public health.

The statement noted that the committee will also work with various stakeholders, including community leaders, to ensure that waste disposal is properly done.

The statement urged the residents of the state to support the state government in ensuring that the state is clean and safe.
