The lawmaker said the first phase of the road project was at the appreciable level of completion, while the second phase had been captured in 2022 appropriations.

He said when completed, the road would be a major route for farmers who takes their farm produce to other markets around the state especially Onion and Galic.

According to him, efforts would be made by the National Assembly through the passage of a bill seeking Dam expansion and construction of more channels for passage of water to irrigation farms around the Dam site for improved Agricultural actvities in a bid to ending rural urban migration.

Abubakar pointed out the measures taken to encourage enrollment to school to include building of classrooms and award of scholarships.

He said the aimed of the scholarship grants was to motivate less privileged parents to allow their Sons and Daughters who could not further their education to tertiary level due to lack of funding.

According to him, most of the beneficiaries of the scholarship are children of the less privileged devoid of political inclination, adding that the award of scholarships to students in the constituency would be a continuous process until end of his tenure.
