The Jigawa state governing council of due process and project monitoring bureau has called on the full compliance of procurement guidelines in all Ministries, departments and agencies in the state.
The Chairman of the Bureau Alhaji Muhammad Sadanu Isma made the call when members of the council paid a courtesy visit to the State Head of Service, Alhaji Hussaini Ali Kila in his office.
Alhaji Muhammad Sadanu Isma explained that they were in the SSG’s office to solicit for his support and cooperation to ensure full complaince of procurement guidelines in all MDA’s to improve quality, transparency and accountability in public financial management of the state.
Also speaking, the Director General due process and project monitoring Bureau, Alhaji Ado Hussaini called on state Head of Service to direct all accounting officers of various MDA’s in the state to abide with the public procurement decisions by procurement officers in line with the revised Jigawa state procurement law and guidelines.
Responding, the Head of Service, Alhaji Hussaini Ali Kila assured them of all possible support and cooperation to ensure strict complaince of the procurement guidelines across the MDA’s.
