Kano State House of Assembly has reaffirmed it’s commitment to the speedy passage of Public Health Bill 2021, when transmitted to the House from the Executive arm.

The Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly, Engineer Hamisu Ibrahim Chidari stated this while declaring open a five-day workshop organized for Stakeholders to review Kano State Public Health Bill 2021, held in Abuja.

According to him, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje’s led administration had place high priority to the Health Sector, hence bringing Health care service to the door step of the teeming populace of the State.

“The essence of our convergence here is to among others put more emphasis on the Kano State Public Health Bill 2021” he said.

He appealed to members of the Kano State House of Assembly to work tirelessly during the workshop for the development of the health Sector.

Engineer Hamisu Ibrahim Chidari applauded Ganduje’s foresight in upgrading General Hospitals across the newly established Emirate Councils as well as providing the Hospitals with modern equipments to ensure quality and effective healthcare delivery in the State.

The workshop themed “Lafiya Program” witnessed large turn out of government officials, legislators, health professionals and relevant stakeholders in the health sector drawn from within and outside the State.
