The Chairman of Northern Community in Southern Nigeria, Alhaji Musa Saidu has called on President Muhammadu Buhari not to grant the unconditional request to release IPOB Leader, Nnamdi Kanu as demanded by some Igbo Leaders.

Speaking in a telephone interview with Radio Nigeria from Port Harcourt, Alhaji Musa Saidu described the request by the Igbo Leaders as selfish and unpatriotic.

He wondered why the IPOB Leader, Nnamdi Kanu should be pardoned after allegedly killing hundreds of innocent Nigerians including soldiers and Policemen.

Alhaji Musa Saidu therefore called for the Prosecution of Nnamdi Kanu and his collaborators in-line with the Criminal justice system of the federal Republic of Nigeria.

The Northern Community Leader added that IPOB people must face the full wrath of the law, to serve as a deterrent to others.
