The Minister of Defence Major General Bashir Magashi rtd has led Chief of Defence Staff and Service Chiefs on an operational visit to headquarters Theatre Command Operation Hadin Kai Maimalari cantonment Maiduguri.
On the Minister’s entourage included Chief of Defence Staff General Lucky Iraboh, Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General Farouq Yahaya, Chief of Naval Staff Rear Admiral Auwal Gambo and representative of Chief of the Air Staff and principal staff officers from Defence and Service headquarters.
This is third time the minister is visiting the Theatre to assess the counter insurgency operations.
The Theatre Command Joint Taskforce Operation Hadin Kai have been recording alot of successes in the operation leading the mass surrender of Boko Haram fighters and their families.
