
Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq says his administration is currently building 40 digital literacy centres across the state.
Governor AbdulRazq stated this in Ilorin, at the commissioning of an ICT Lab donated to the Government Secondary School (GSS) by a private company under its Youth hub Africa Initiative.
He said the state government is making deliberate efforts to raise a new generation of digital natives in Kwara.

According to him, in the next few years, everything will be ICT driven, adding that it is important to plan for the future.
He explained that the best investment for the future is deliberate investment in digital education.
AbdulRazaq urged the authorities and students of the school to make good use of the multimillion naira facility.
In her address the state Commissioner for Education and Human Capital Development Hajiya Sa’adatu Modibbo Kawu said the facilities will go a long way to broaden the knowledge of students in information technology.
In his remark the Deputy Managing Director of the Company , Kelvin Yangyang said the essence of the gesture is to develop various initiatives in building talents and future of Nigerian youths.
