Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi state has approved the suspension of the Executive Secretary of the Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Abubakar Babangida Tafida with immediate effect.
This was contained is a statement by the Governor’s Special Adviser on media, Comrade Mukthar Gidado and issued to newsmen in Bauchi.
The statement said the suspension order had since been served to the Executive Secretary in a letter signed by the Secretary to the State Government dated September 14 2021.
According to the statement the suspended Executive Secretary has been directed to hand over the affairs of the board to the most senior officer pending the outcome of an investigation instituted by the state government.
