Emir of Gumel Alhaji Ahmed Muhammad Sani has sympathised with flood victims in Gumel local government area of jigawa state.

Radio Nigeria reports that the Emir went round the affected areas which include Sabon Layi, Zuwon wanki and Tudun Alhazai and urged the victims to consider the situation as an act of God.

Alhaji Ahmed Muhammad Sani called on the local government to seek for state government’s intervention to alleviate their sufferings.

The flood was as a result of overflow of Kattakai and Dan Fulani ponds where hundreds of houses were washed away and many are at risk of been flooded.
