Standards Organisation of Nigeria-SON has donated Eight hundred and forty-three mobile phones of different brands to the Department of State Services-DSS Kaduna.

Presenting the phones to the State Director DSS, Co-ordinator of SON in Kaduna, Mr Qasim Yahaya, explained that the phones were seized from importers who violated import regulations.

He maintained that the donation was meant to enhance productivity of security agencies, considering the current security challenges.

Mr Qasim Yahaya pointed out that similar donation would be made to the Police, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps and other security agencies to enhance communication which is key in tackling security threats.

Receiveing the mobile Phones, Director DSS, Kaduna State command, Mr Idris Koya, commended SON for the gesture, stressing that communication is the bedrock of security agencies.
