Zamfara State Government says, it received the shocking news of the death of the state Correspondent of a daily Newspaper Muhammad Nasir Munirat.

This was contained in a statement by the Permanent Secretary Ministry of information , Barrister Sani Nasarawa and made available to newsmen in Gusau.

According to the statement, government is indeed saddened by the death of the veteran journalist who served the state and it’s people deligently and according to the ethics of the profession.

‘The selfless service rendered by the deceased will make him ever green in the minds of our people’

The state government condoles the bereaved family members of the deceased, members of the NUJ state council and the National body over the irreparable loss.

May Allah Grant the gentle soul of the deceased eternal rest and the families fortitude to bear the loss.
