Nigeria on Tuesday, has recorded 404 new cases of Coronavirus, its highest daily count of infections in the last four months.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) stated this in its latest update on the outbreak.

This makes it the biggest daily record increase since March 4 when 708 cases were confirmed, raising the total count to 171,728 with 2,134 death, 16,4837 cases discharged.

The breakdown include: Lagos- 356, Rivers- 18, FCT- 7, Kaduna- 5, Ekiti- 5, Gombe- 3, Kano- 3, Edo- 2, Ogun- 2, Bayelsa- 1, Plateau- 1, Nasarawa- 1.
