The Emir of zazzau, Malam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli has commended Radio Nigeria kaduna for its contributions towards sustaining peace and development in the country.
He made the commendation when the management of Radio Nigeria kaduna paid him a courtesy visit at his palace in Zaria.
Malam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli commended Radio Nigeria on its roles in national cohesion.
The Emir said security challenges being experienced in many parts of the country made the demand for professional conduct of media personel more important.
He stressed that unprofessional conducts and fake news from social media if not checked would jeopardize Nigeria’s national unity.
The Emir therefore urged people to rely on authentic and credible news, particularly from Radio Nigeria Kaduna.
He appealed to the management of FRCN kaduna to sustain the tempo by broadcasting news, analysis and decumentaries that would strengthen the country’s unity.
The Royal father who commended the professional conduct of FRCN kaduna reporters in zaria also urged the management to sustain the relationship with the Emirate council.
He also lauded the efforts of the management for the establishment Of a substation of karama FM in Zaria.
Responding, the Zonal Director, Radio Nigeria kaduna, Malam Buhari Auwalu told the Emir the delegation came to the palace to pay homage and also to congratulate him on his turbaning as the 19th Emir of zazzau.
The Zonal Director who lamanted on the proliferation of fake news on social media said leaders in Nigeria needed support and prayers to move the nation forward.
He commended the Emirate council on its support to the establishment of karama FM sub-station in Zaria.
Malam Buhari Auwalu explained that the work at the site for the sub-station was in progress, stressing that a transmitter would soon be erected for the final take off at the site.
Among the management staff on the Entourage includes Deputy Director news and current affairs, Malam musa Usman, Deputy Director programmes’Malam Auwalu mamman, Deputy Director Audit,Malam Falalu, Deputy Director procurement, Malam Abubakar Dutsin ma.
