The Vice Chancellor of Kano University of Science and Technology, Wudil, Professor Alhaji Musa Shehu says, the university would host nearly 119 universities Vice Chancellors and other stakeholders in the nation’s Higher Education system.

Professor Shehu Alhaji Musa stated while briefing Journalist on the preparations of Nigerian Universities Annual Conference ,which Will kickstart On the 14th of July 2021,At KUT Wudil.

He said this year’s edition of the Association of Vice-Chancellors of Nigerian Universities conference was decided to take place at KUST Wudil Campus between Monday 12th July- 15th July, 2021.

The Conference, which is the 35th of its kind will address issues of funding opportunities that will enable the university to improve its digital learning capacity, artificial intelligence as well as quantum studies for the entire Nigerian Universities.

Professor Shehu Alhaji Musa explained that the occasion is expected to be open by the visitor of the institution and governor of Kano State, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and chaired by the university’s Pro-Chancellor, A.B Mahmoud SAN.

“The keynote address will be delivered by Professor Ibrahim Garba, the former Vice Chancellor of Kano University of Science and Technology Wudil and the immediate past Voce Chancellor of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.”

According to him, other special guests that will grace the occasion include, TET Fund Boss, Professor Bogoro, NUC Executive Secretary, Professor Abubakar Adamu Rasheed and other dignitaries within and outside the country.

He Added that during the Conference the University would Showcased it Capacity , Achievements with aim of uplifting the Standard of Tertiary Education Nationwide.
