Former Governor of Zamfara State, Abdulazeez Yari Abubakar has donated 575 Cows and 800 Rams to Zamfara APC Members for Eld-el-kabir Sallah Celebration.
Announcing the donation at Stakeholders meeting of the All Progressives Congress, APC, at the Party’s Secretariat in Gusau, APC Chieftain, Lawal M. Liman said the gesture will be distributed to all the 147 wards of the State.
He explained that, the number of Cows and Rams were increased by the former Governor to accommodate the new members who joined the party recently.
Lawal Liman noted that, committees would be inaugurated for the distribution, saying each ward would benefit 3 cows while other associations and other groups would be allocated with their own share to celebrate the Sallah joyfully.
He called on both Old and New members of the party to maintain peace and love each other as the Party is making frantic efforts to ensure they work together for the Progress of the State.
