AVM Ebenezer Olayinka Alade

Students of Senior Course forty-three of the Armed Forces Command and Staff College Jaji have been charged to be creative, innovative and open minded in their approach.

Commandant of the College, Air Vice Marshal Ebenezer Olayinka Alade stated this while declaring open this year’s edition of EXERCISE SEA LION for members of senior course forty-three.

According to Air Vice Marshal Ebenezer Alade, as future operational level commanders, students are required to understand how to skillfully deploy military forces to attain operational level objectives.

The Commandant noted that the Exercise is a joint and combined operations which encapsulates the operations packages as well as to integrate all that the students learnt in the course.

He maintained that it also serves as an avenue for the students to practice and consolidate their knowledge to plan, conduct and decide on the employment of land, maritime and air assets in a combined and joint settings.

The Exercise had Two Hundred and Twenty-nine participants cutting across the Army, Navy, Airforce and allied countries.
