Late Chief Of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Ibrahim Attahiru

Governor Badaru Abubakar of Jigawa state has condoled President Muhammadu Buhari, Nigerian Army and the entire Nigerians over the demise of the Chief Of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Ibrahim Attahiru, who died in a plane crash.

In a statement made available to newsmen in Dutse by Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on New Media, Auwalu Danladi Sankara described the death as a great loss for Nigeria.

He said “I’m deeply saddened about the unfortunate news of the Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General Ibrahim Attahiru, who died on Friday in Kaduna. He left Nigerians when Nigerians needed him the most. This is a bitter loss for all of us.”

“My deepest condolence goes to President Muhammadu Buhari who found him worthy to lead the Nigerian Military in the fight against insurgency across the country, and also to his immediate family who have to bear with his loss”

Badaru Abubakar also condoled with the family of other officers who died along with the Chief of Army staff. 

The Governor prayed Allah to have mercy on their souls and give the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
